Happy New Year!
We had a good month but unfortunately, did not take many pictures. The camera was lost for a bit as construction on the garage took over our house in earnest. Both Stacey and Aleck's bedroom and Robin's bedroom were severely impacted with temporary walls erected to protect us from the construction zone. Robin's room in particular was practically cut in half diagonally. There was barely enough room for her crib and changing table, and an adult could not walk straight into the room-- you had to turn your body sideways to get in.
Through it all, we had a mostly uneventful month. Aleck took a short business trip, during which Amanda got a virus and had a fever for 3 days, as is customary when Aleck is out of town. Luckily she did not pass it on to Robin.
Amanda started her much-anticipated gymnastics class this month and loves every minute of it. Robin loves it, too, as she gets to play in the recreation center's soft play room during Amanda's class. Both girls continue to do well in school and are still having a blast going to school and learning all that they can.

We went out to dinner at the Japanese Steak House, where the girls got awesome straw ornaments with their waters.
