We had a lot of fun this month with the start of T-Ball, Passover, Easter, and a trip to North Carolina to see Elijah and Maggie. Amanda started playing Tee-Ball this month and is really liking it. She is not only having fun, but is learning to play on a team. Robin loves going to Tee-Ball and playing with all of the other little siblings. While the big kids get to run around the bases, the little ones had a blast with bubbles, toys and running in circles.
Now that construction is complete, Robin's room is ready for her big girl bed. And we're pretty sure she's ready for it, too. She's starting to talk about using the potty, but given the terrible experience we had with Amanda, we are not getting our hopes up and are going to let Robin go at whatever speed she wants.
Amanda also came home from Spring Break Camp telling us that she has a boyfriend there who's 8. When asked how she knows he's her boyfriend, she replied, "He came up and told me so." Aleck immediately began researching gun ownership.

"You can either touch the snow or touch the hot lava and die. Which would you prefer?"
Robin's Big Girl Bed
Robin made the move from crib to bed. Hooray!
Passover!
We went to the Tot Seder where the girls made their annual frog hats, and then we went to a real seder with their cousins.

"We're going to the Hot Seder!"

"I can't let him copy from my paper because I don't want to be sux-spended from school."

Amanda was telling us who
the kids were in her class picture. She pointed to one girl who has since
moved and said, in a solemn voice,
"She's no longer with us."
Back at home, Amanda schools Robin on the finer points of tee-ball
Blast from the Past: Betsy Ross
Amanda's class put on a show for the parents called: Who Am I? A Trip In Time. Each child was dressed as a figure from history and gave a few clues as to who they were. Amanda was Betsy Ross and also welcomed everyone to the program.

Trip to North Carolina
We visited with Elijah and Maggie for a few days and had a blast. We spent some time at the beach and played at the house. This was Robin's first time at the beach, and also Amanda's first time in a few years. They both had a fantastic time.
The kids searched for shells, Elijah got buried, and Maggie caught some waves.

"Do I have a milk-stache?"
After the beach, the kids were tuckered out.
