September 2010

We had a great, warm September filled with fun and adventures new and old. Robin got her first pair of real shoes from the shoe store. The girls had their first visit to Krispy Kreme, we visited friends in Ohio, and had friends from Florida come visit us. We celebrated holidays with family and also rejoiced in the return of the slide!

Amanda started her last year of preschool this month, as well, and is very excited to finally be a Traveler. Ever since she started preschool, she has looked up to the Travelers and couldn't wait to be one. Amanda continues to be a loving and caring big sister, though it's getting noticeably tougher as Robin gets older and more aware of her surroundings.

Robin is growing and changing quickly. She now gives kisses and her walking is steadily improving. She's not really talking yet, but one day we are pretty sure she spoke a full sentence. She picked up the dog's bone and chased her around the room saying something that sounded a lot like, "Luna, here." She does say "Uh-oh" clearly, usually after throwing something on the floor. She also loves to brush her teeth. Many nights you can find her with her toothbrush in her mouth, shaking her head from side to side in an effort to clean her gums (keep in mind, she doesn't think to move the toothbrush; only her head).
